Cooperage and Bourbon
Today, we posted a recipe on our instagram using Cooper's Craft Bourbon, the first new bourbon added to the Brown-Foreman permanent lineup in 20 years!
A lot of people have enjoyed our refreshing whiskey tea made with Cooper's Craft, Lemon Juice, 18.21 Lemon Basil Syrup and Black Tea (recipe below), but have asked, why Cooper's Craft? Who is Cooper?
Well, it is not who is cooper, but what is a cooperage? You see, Brown-Foreman is the only whiskey maker with it's own cooperage. A cooper makes the barrels that the whiskey is aged in. You can learn more about what makes Cooper's Craft unique here.
To make a Cooper's Tea, shake 1.5oz Cooper's Craft, 1.5oz Unsweet Tea, .5oz 18.21 Lemon Basil Syrup, and .5oz Lemon Juice in a shaker with ice. Pour into a glass, sit on your favorite porch and enjoy!
