Lemon Basil Rich Simple Syrup

Our rich cocktail syrups are concentrated so you can use less while still enjoying full, rich flavor for your cocktails!

Lemon Basil is our most versatile syrup. Its light and citrusy and aromatic with fresh,sweet basil. It pairs well with all spirits. Use it to lighten up your Bourbon in the spring or with vodka for a citrus forward martini.

Recommended serving size is 1/2 oz. Each bottle makes 32 cocktails

Recommended pairings:

Bitters+Tinctures: Chamomile, Ginger Lemon, Grapefruit Lavender, Hibiscus, Prohibition aromatic and Tart Cherry+Saffron

Liqueurs: St. Germain, Yellow Chartreuse, Bonal, Absinthe, Lillet blanc, Chareau, Italicus

"Lemon Basil Gimlet"

2 oz Gin

1/2 oz lime juice

1/2 oz 18.21 Lemon Basil Syrup

Muddle 2-3 basil leaves with syrup. Add all other ingredients to shaker with ice and shake well. Double strain into coupe glass and garnish with a Basil leaf

"Daiquiri in Central Park"

2 oz light rum

1/2 oz 18.21 Lemon Basil Syrup

1/2 oz Yellow Chartreuse

1/4 oz Lime juice

Shake well oversee and strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with a lime wheel

 

"To the Races"

2 oz Bourbon

3/4 oz Black Tea

3/4 oz lemon juice

3/4 oz 18.21 Lemon Basil Syrup

3-4 mint sprigs

Shake all ingredients over ice. Double strain into Collins glass. Top with soda water and Mint to garnish
